[To her credit (maybe), it's an honest question, a little bit surprised.]

They did mention it as a possibility in the guide they gave us, didn't they?

[She seems confused, because she's awful.]

There's a difference between kissin' and drinkin' a lot and killin' people.

[ She shakes both her hands through her hair. ]

There ain't no reason we couldn't figure out how to work together instead.

[fisherwoman]

[After a moment, she sighs.]

That's naive.

[She's not saying it to be mean (even though it is), but as a statement of fact.]

I know. [ She actually sounds frustrated, sighing. ] But then what? Do ya look at everyone here like they might pick you next?

[fisherwoman]

They'd be stupid if they did. Nobody here is a match for me.

[Cocky... But she moves on after a second.]

My Avatar told me that we're all competing with each other. It makes sense people would do this.

They never said anything about competin' when they made the offer in the first place... [ did they? yuel had been on fire at the time ] Ain't it enough just to indulge?

Maybe they didn't mention it at first, but they've made it clear that's the way it is now.

[She sighs.]

Well, it isn't so unusual from people where I come from to kill to try and get ahead. So, it doesn't seem too unusual to me.

[She laughs.]

[ She frowns. ]

I ain't tryin' to be subtle.

Then what are you trying to do? If I say yes, will you think I killed that boy? I didn't.

[fluffier]

I'm just tryin' to know more about ya. [ She actually sounds neutral. ] Just 'cause ya had to kill back home to survive doesn't mean ya did it here.

[fisherwoman]

[She relaxes a little bit at that answer, before:]

Well, you say that, but it doesn't seem that way to me... I'm not really the type to pity myself, anyways.

That ain't surprisin'. [ She grins a little at that. ] But would ya want someone ya care about to live like that?

[fisherwoman]

[She wasn't expecting that question, and it's not one she's really thought about before, so she blinks.]

I... No, I guess not, but that's just the way it is!

[fluffier]

Doesn't that mean ya don't think it's the best way to live? [ She looks pretty pleased! ] Aren't ya actually a softie that wants to live peacefully?

[fisherwoman]

Huh? When did I say I would want to live that way? That's way too boring!

[But she sounds a little defensive?? Hm.]

[fluffier]
