Then what are you trying to do? If I say yes, will you think I killed that boy? I didn't.

I'm just tryin' to know more about ya. [ She actually sounds neutral. ] Just 'cause ya had to kill back home to survive doesn't mean ya did it here.

[fisherwoman]

[She relaxes a little bit at that answer, before:]

[ maybe she'll ease up a bit on her... MAYBE ]

Well, you say that, but it doesn't seem that way to me... I'm not really the type to pity myself, anyways.

That ain't surprisin'. [ She grins a little at that. ] But would ya want someone ya care about to live like that?

[fisherwoman]

[She wasn't expecting that question, and it's not one she's really thought about before, so she blinks.]

Doesn't that mean ya don't think it's the best way to live? [ She looks pretty pleased! ] Aren't ya actually a softie that wants to live peacefully?

[fisherwoman]

Huh? When did I say I would want to live that way? That's way too boring!

[But she sounds a little defensive?? Hm.]

[fluffier]

[ too bad Yuel's not scared of you!! ]

Then how do ya wanna live?

[fisherwoman]

[After a moment:]

I want power, of course.

[fluffier]

What for?

[fisherwoman]

What do you mean, what for? Out of everything, that's what'll keep you safest.

[fluffier]

Wouldn't ya rather just live somewhere where ya don't have to be strong to be safe?

[fisherwoman]

[Sighs!!]

I like being strong. Why does it matter so much to you, huh?

[fluffier]

I'm just learnin' about ya. [ She smiles. ] We're gonna be stuck together a while, and knowledge is power!
