[ She's just looking at him for a moment before staring at the ceiling, realizing that she probably should've considered what to say once they were face to face before infiltrating, but sometimes brain tired.

[ physically? he seems to be less sick than he was earlier, at least, so there's that.

he does not move or look at her, instead also opting to stare at the ceiling. ]

[ That doesn't seem entirely convincing. She wishes she was a little more delicate, to know how to untangle someone's feelings. ]

... What happened up on that satellite?

[ She tries not to react because, yeah. That sounds about right, but it's still really shocking to hear and she kind of wants to freak out just hearing about it.

But that's not conducive. ]

It. Did... ya do somethin' to anger it?

Maybe. [ ... ] It didn't seem to want me, so it worked out, at least.

[ She sighs, sitting up and looking at him now. ]

But... we fixed it. That's a relief at least.

[ She flops back onto the bed at that, smiling and looking over at him. ]

If you say it like that then I feel like it'll get jinxed.

[ She pokes his side, though her expression does soften. ]

That doesn't sound like ya.

I mean, objectively, it's not.

I just want to kill someone who I normally wouldn't be able to. That's all.

[ Her expression doesn't shift too much, more curious than anything else. ]

[ normally, he wouldn't really give this information out but

after you try to bad end a game, you kind of feel like you owe people answers?? even if they don't actually know what happened on the satellite. ]

[ That's such an unexpected revelation that she's momentarily struck speechless. ]

. . . [ Before scooting closer, just enough that their arms are touching. ] Why wouldja think that's a bad wish? Yer mom deserves...

I was going to do a lot of shitty things to accomplish it.

[ even before today, he would admit a lot of his choices weren't the best. ]

But if we get the wish, it'll work out.

But... That's unusually optimistic of ya. Not that I'm not sayin' you shouldn't be optimistic!
