[ She pokes his side, though her expression does soften. ]

I mean, objectively, it's not.

I just want to kill someone who I normally wouldn't be able to. That's all.

[ Her expression doesn't shift too much, more curious than anything else. ]

[ normally, he wouldn't really give this information out but

after you try to bad end a game, you kind of feel like you owe people answers?? even if they don't actually know what happened on the satellite. ]

I was going to do a lot of shitty things to accomplish it.

[ even before today, he would admit a lot of his choices weren't the best. ]

[ he is not looking away because that is too suspicious but he's internally looking away. ]

I think I'm tired enough that I'm resorting to optimism.

[ She kind of laughs, because that's so sad but.

Actually no, she's full on laughing, because she's also tired, and she's just going to drop her forehead against his shoulder. ]
